Chad Montana is a native of Dunedin, Florida who started his pursuit of music after his first enlistment in the U.S. Army in 1995. Chad formed Country/ Southern Rock powerhouse, Rebel Pride. Chad and Rebel Pride made a name throughout Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and the Carolina's in the mid 90's to 2002. The original line up dominated the circuit opening and touring with acts such as Brooks and Dunn, Reba, Chris LeDoux, Kenny Chesney, George Straight, Charlie Daniels, Garth Brooks and the list goes on. Chad and Rebel Pride went on to get an independent record deal with Disney/ Lyric Street, releasing three album and touring approximately 250 dates a year. After leaving Rebel Pride, Chad took a much needed break from the music scene and reenlisted into the military. In 2007, Chad was approached and signed by hit song writer and producer, Randy Boudreaux. Together, they went on to write with hit makers, Tommy Barnes, Donnie Keys and Kim Williams. They released a single in 2008, while writing an album they were gaining popularity on the radio tour. In 2009, Chad found himself having creative differences with Randy and the label. He then returned home to Florida. Approximately a year later, Chad was back on the local band circuit that he originally build his name with. Over the years, the veteran singer has been presented many independent music awards, keys to the city for his involvement in charitable events, and featured in St. Pete Time, Mayhem Magazine and Country Music Weekly. Currently, The Chad Montana Band plays throughout the state of Florida. The line up includes several concerts throughout the year along with fan favorite venues. The singer says that him and the band don't exhaust themselves with a grueling stage schedule, they keep a moderate calendar to play for their fans and the love of music.
